I'll never forgive bungie for turning different spartan styles as their own character with different skins to unlock..
It breaks my heart that this franchise will never come close to the heights of 3 ever again, it just feels so lame now no matter how many updates they put out

That’s fair 343 definitely made it significantly worse . They were in over their head

MS is ultimately the culprit here. They were s***ty with deadlines and forced Reach out of Bungie and then gave 343 the wheel and means to drive it into an oil tank

oh yeah 100% its like they got too cocky after xbox 360 success. Between always on kinect trying to knock used game sales out and get at drm. When they were already leading. Then Call of Duty dominated the coop, multiplayer, single player shooter combo scene.

In another universe bungie held strong and didn’t release another halo game after 3 for years and then capitalized on the consumer exhaustion from the oversaturation of cod clones by releasing a new classic halo game/series in the late 2010s
