cigaMwell with the semi open world and solo Chief focus i think the story mode is what im most excited for
playing it first on Heroic then on Leg
even tho i got lvl 50 in H2 TS ranked and played in a Toronto based tournament in H3, i know im gonna love the MP so im not as excited i guess lol
Halo 3 ranking system was my fav by far, team doubles, team slayer, mlg, lonewolf

you guys worried about overshield being able to be activated at any time? I was so ehh on it but from what we can see in the gameplay its gonna be just as easy to die as it is to save the overshield for the perfect opportunity

Honestly a terrible idea imo
The fact that you still have to ‘activate’ the overshield and can be killed in the middle of the animation still is big trash

Nah I think being able to activate them on demand is way better, especially since there is an animation to activate it so you can’t just get dinged a couple times and auto activate to get out of the situation.

Naw I’m not really worried about it . Especially since it adds to more situational moments and seems rare/ enforces more team aggression since you can pick it up after killing them . I think it will be a healthy advantage

uhhhh yeah I’m sure the other players in the games I play will let me go up to OS spawn, grab it when it drops, and walk right away so I can freely choose when to use it

NukesI really hope this is a hit. I hope the competitive scene is good too. I don’t think Halos competitive scene has been good since H2-H3 days.
I need to fully accept that OG Halo will never return. My biggest complaint about sprint and etc. is that this changes a whole lot for map creations.
This is probably 343s last chance to make Halo relevant again. Also, i like that they’re going to continuously update the game for years to come. I think everyone should start taking these steps. Yearly releases are god awful and yes I’m looking at the CoD series.
Please keep battle royale out of halo. Halo doesn’t need to follow trends, it needs to set the trend. Nobody in the FPS genre is unique anymore.
Lastly I hope forge mode has different skin tools. I am tired of playing forge maps that have no color and etc.
I’d be shocked if this didn’t have a battle royale tbh. Free to play multiplayer is a great move, but they wanna compete with their competitors, BR would help that.

They should actually do it. It’s another option of a mode to play and if someone hates it they simply don’t have to play that mode . I personally see BR as purely a hot game mode that doesn’t hurt anyone to simply not dive into if they don’t want

tbh seems like noobs over the age of 30 are the ones most mad about them adding more strategy to the MP gameplay
they just want walk, crouch, jump, shoot, reload and melee

This is gonna die within half a year of launching, 99% sure. There’s nothing special about it. Just another AAA game with 0 unique identity cause it’s trying to cater to every other fan base out of desperation while acting like those implemented changes are solely to keep the game ‘fresh’
