What's the point of making a show about Halo... and then not making it based on the source material

If you want a show with an asian girl and the covenant girl and all these little side stories etc then make a different show. They don't build on the universe, if anything it directly contradicts it.

Even the s*** with Master Chief talking or taking off his helmet isn't a bad thing usually if it wasn't such a weird thing to change for no reason other than to piss off "halo fans"

If you want to be conspiratorial, it's as if they created a show that made it difficult for fans to like it on purpose to create some fake drama

Warning, the showrunner for szn 2 is another bad writer who makes bad adaptations lol
