Why the f*** do I see people hyping up this Jesus ass R. Kelly trash that is God Is and no one seems to think Hands On is any good? Hands On is one of the few songs that sounds mostly secular and doesn’t make me want to chop my own nads off
Honestly. This and On God are the only two songs that sound like true Kanye songs. The rest sound like old people music.

Follow God is a Kanye song too, just wish it was longer

I've never cringed at an album harder than JIK tbh. I don't know how ya'll can listen to s*** like Water and Everything We Need without laughing
Follow God, On God, and maybe Hands On are the only ones I can stomach

I like Water until Kanye comes in and then it goes from a decent song to a 0/10 real quick
Instrumental on "On God" is by far the best. Graduation era Kanye would've killed that s***. "God Is" sample at the beginning is the only good thing about the song. "Hands On" is the best track imo as well. Has the most meat on it's bones in terms of substance, flow, etc. The album surprised me when It came out & actually thought it was better than expected. But after revisiting it.... S***'s beyond trash. I don't have a problem with it being a gospel record either, it's just that the music it lackluster af. I can honestly say, as a stan since 04', I am officially not looking forward to what he does next until HE proves he's back to form in terms of the music.
