Logic saying "fuck rap" because nobody likes his music and then continuing to rap for like 5 more albums was priceless
REAL for G Rap, Cool J, and 8ball & MJG
I revisited Radio recently and honestly for a 1985 album it holds up extremely well. It’s not one of those 80s albums I would put here just because it looks good, the rapping on there is still great and it bangs. Better than the run dmc albums imo
Happy 50th i love you the world loves you and always remember…if it wasnt for the Bronx
Y’all gotta listen to Breaking Atoms if you haven’t. Probably one of the most mature lyrical albums in all of hip hop with classic Large Pro production
Large Pro the most underrated MC

It's a crazy album and helped to shift the lyrical nature of hip hop into the golden age. LL is the bridge between Run-DMC and Rakim

Let me know your thoughts, it’s a real favorite for me, very concise listen with timeless lyrics
And yeah both Pete Rock and CL albums are amazing, a lot of my picks are shorter albums but they’re one of the few acts who made long ass albums with no skips or filler. Can just throw them on and enjoy
