True. Being a good or bad person definitely doesn't make you immune to anything, that's life. Those things don't change. But one's outlook on life gives them the ability to perceive those situations differently, you feel me?
Feel you 100% fam
i’m young as hell and reading this motivating to not end up like you. thank you
All good. I turned out fine btw, the only thing is that I wish I changed it up sooner
This realization turned me into a bit of a sociopath no cap. Realizing no one (or most ppl) gave a f*** about me regardless of how genuinely I cared about them warped my mind a lot. Made me a lose a lot of empathy for others. Funny how that works.
Please
One day we will lose everyone we love if we don’t die first.
Life isn’t fair and being a decent person has no bearing on your quality of life or if you get to see a long one.
Karma doesn’t exist. Evil people can prosper doing your dirty while you are the one who solely suffers
That “being a decent person has no bearing on your quality of life or if you get to see a long one” is exactly what I was talking about in another thread.
Why do people act like you should always be a “good person”, when people who are genuinely good people get s*** on and used all the time?
There are tons of selfish people who are only out for themselves out here living great lives, thriving and there are very empathic genuine people out here living in bullshit situations, getting used and abused all because they actually care about other people.
With that I pretty much meant being a good person doesn’t mean you’re immune to the harsh realities of life of rather chance. You can be the most upstanding individual who has spent your entire life trying to uplift, protect, and enhance life for others just to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and meet fatality. And even if it’s not fatal mfs won’t think twice about burning you because you’re a good person. Broken systems don’t care either.
Bro you are preaching oh my god. People hate to have this conversation, that act like good people getting s*** on is rare and that they’re outliers.
Bullshit.
Hardest pill swallowed
My life is up to me, down to the finest detail. It's my responsibility to shape myself, despite having my upbringing already programmed me.
Freeing and daunting
This one sets a lot of people free

How can you say the selfish people are living great lives when you have no idea what’s inside of them or what happens behind closed doors?
I can't go back in time. Mistakes and missed opportunities are something I have to accept and do better in the future

I’ve met and been friends with people (initially) who are s*** people morally and have objectively above average lives quality wise.
Quality as in relationships (no lack of options), opportunities, socially popular, have money, nice home/supportive family, expensive things, they’re valued and validated by the people around them/closest to them etc.
Maybe not all selfish people are living good but a lot of people WHO ARE living good are selfish f***ers who are in it for themselves. They succeed because they’re so focused on their own gain.

I think that’s relative . Someone always has more or less than somebody. It is our life, as long as you ain’t hurting nobody you’re entitled (and IMO supposed to) focus on your self gain before anyone else’s . You can’t help if you have nothing to give
These examples are all external, you truly don’t know what’s going on these people’s mind
I’m not here to change your mind or tell you that you’re wrong or right though, just my perspective homie
