Ravenclaws and Gryffindors can be good hearted people too, it's just such a basic trait in comparison to the others. Plus the fact that the only notable character in the books from Hufflepuff is Cedric Diggory (who dies in the same book he's introduced in) means it's just the most bland and forgettable house
