diormybodyi play on k&m but felt like couch potatoing on controller today. playing on hard on k&m not that hard but the combat controls on controller feels weird for some reason. game is still great tho i’m just ass
Game has really poor indicators for when you’re about to get hit. It forces you to stare at your characters head rather than your surroundings. When you take your eyes off your head for 1 second you get comboed up to death on hard.
God Of War has it perfectly where the enemy has the indicator rather than your head
On top of that it’s sensory overload but still I beat it on hard last night. Difficultly felt cheesy more than anything but fun nonetheless

I'm glad i'm not the only one that thinks combat needed improvement. I agree with you on the indicators. They make the combat very confusing. It also doesn't help that you can't change the controller layout. Would have liked it if you change lock on targets with D pad or protego with R1. It is what it is though I like the game but combat could definetely could have been better

F*** it, I’m probably gonna end up buying it today because the mail just ran and it’s still not in.
Probably donate to a trans charity alongside it to clear my mind because I told myself I wasn’t going to buy it.

I'm not sure how I feel about it so far, I am not that far into it though.
beat the troll with Seb in Hogsmeade
So far, I feel like this game should have been Skyrim levels of exploration but it isn't. Why can't I cast flipendo at every student/teacher and get detention for it?
Why I can't do kill a main character if I want to ? and go completely bad. The only way I feel that this would have been warranted to not offer was if it was a full school simulation a la persona/bully. But it isn't, so there was no excuse not to.
Disappointing, but still impressive how massive it is and the little things like having Zonko joke shop etc but why is it just pointless. Why I can't I speak to the staff or buy something there ?
Story so far is good, and graphics are obviously fire. But this feels rushed. I was a huge HP videogame fan growing up and so far I feel this doesn't touch CoS on GC, PoA on GBA or even OOP on Wii. But I will give it more time and hope it proves me wrong. But maybe this game wasn't made for the type of Harry Potter fan I am.
