HP gotta have the worst magic system I've seen.
It’s simple but fun what more do you need
This game is NOT getting 85+ Would be great if I'm wrong but I just don't see it happening
Why?
Why?
Criticisms I foresee:
Voice acting and lip sync
Stiff animations
Jank/General lack of polish, maybe bugs
Repetitive collectathon side quests
Lack of immersion due to minimal consequences following your behavior like using the unforgivable curses
The main story doesn't change enough depending on your choices and actions (Idk anything, this is a guess)
Combat may be considered repetitive/spammy with minimal weight to it
Critics may use the real world politics surrounding this game as an excuse to rate it lower. "Politically muddled and profoundly misogynistic" are listed under the bad on GameSpot's GTA 5 review
I think it'll be getting mostly 7s and 8s

If the story is pretty good to great i think that cancels out the need for it to have branching paths. That potential critique seems like a preference more so

Maybe not branching paths/different endings, but just the main story in general
I think this whole goblins = Jews thing is stupid af, but I can see some critics bringing that s*** into their review to knock the story

It’s not even that, it’s the that goblins ARE an oppressed race in the Wizarding World and the fact that their rebellion against their oppressors is presented as the main conflict that you need to stop is what makes it’s intentions questionable.
I feel like the game is likely gonna take a “Violence is never justified” kind of stance when it comes to revolution or something.

I’m thinking there’s choice involved and maybe a good and bad ending
They’re psychos if they’re actually gonna make us be evil like that

I don't see the big deal with this yet, it depends on how the game handles it. Like you might be against them at first but then your character sees something that makes them decide to help the goblins. The Witcher 2 did something similar with elves and handled it well imo
People who benefit under a system are likely to want that system to keep going, that's realistic Not fair to be outraged at the game for it unless it strips you of agency and forces you only to play a role in squashing the rebellion imo

I’d hope so, but the fact that you can actually kill/torture goblins and s*** in the meantime is undeniably kinda

Well I’d expect that since you can choose a dark path where you use forbidden curses like avada kadabra. I think of it like KOTOR or mass effect where it’s kinda up to you if you wanna be the hero or like a death eater type mf

I’m speaking more of the implications of that and the general tone the game seems to be presenting.
It’s f***ed up

I highly doubt they will actually be the “main villain” . Seems like a misdirect
