I feel like out of everyone he’s the director that has the best point on this
Chris stayed pretty close to source material. 8 hours might be cool for a Order of the Phoenix or something where we missed a ton of stuff, but there’s little way to add to substantially add to the first two books unless you’re just making things up. My gripes with film adaptations will take several years to get around to, which might not even be worth it by then
He directed two of the longest films despite covering the shortest books
what's the point?
money
Quote is taken completely out of context and obviously people are falling for it

Kinda weird but at the same time Flitwick is really a pretty side character so I’m not super mad at it.
The other characters they announced for casting today look great

Dwarf acting goat there’s such a small pool to choose from (no pun)
I mean the point is to accurately portray the books which the movies did a terrible job of.
Also wonder how much the youth illiteracy epidemic will impact the numbers of this show.

Agreed. I love the movies but the books wipe them down with ease.
Why is this being made if it doesn’t intend to be faithful to the books
They said it wouldn’t be faithful?
