Honestly what is the point? If the movies didn't exist then this would be incredible. This looks really well-made but it just feels like a weird dream you had about the movies where the cast isn't quite the same

Y’all remember the franchise spinoff ideas thread from a lil while back @Antidote @Everest @mjpplus

those spinoffs lowkey look sort of good. how are they?
Mileage may vary but I thought it was pretty interesting and self contained. Just over long as f***.
I think that world is lowkey kinda rich in potential tho so I could be biased
I understand that people s*** on this because they hold on to the nostalgia of the OG series, but the movies left out hella s*** lol. be thankful we actually getting something that’s adapting to the books 100%. looks great, hope to see a 2nd trailer later this year to see more

until its relevance died. The films are still very popular and transcends generations, much like the original star wars. A film seperate from the original film story like a Marauders or a limited series about Voldemort would make more sense imo

ill prob check this out once the whole season is out.
this is gonna fall into the same trap as every other shows these days tho where the 2-3 year gap between each season will age out the kids. the movies barely pulled it off
