2) has Rowling involved in the story

3) based on canon

As I’ve said on here before, I’d be all the way in on an HBO TV version of the books.

The movies are overproduced trash for the most part

It’s HBO doing it so that’s kind of assuring that it’ll be an interesting and mature take on the series
