Set proper expectations. Don’t set rules for a few, set them for everyone. Be fair. Expect to not be perfect.

Most importantly know your people. Know their motivations, and personality types. Not everyone will receive a message the same way.

Alot of communicating with people you’d rather not
Alot of situations where you have to be the bad guy when someone is f***ing up

Expect pushback from time to time keep it professional and handle it

First day was just videos for 8 hours and I look at the back end

I felt useless and it made me lose confidence.

I guess I must comes from repetition

When I got promoted to management a few months ago, tbh i didn’t treat anyone or act any different than i already did, but my coworkers understood I was their superior. But I have a good team around me so that helps as well.
