hilarious how it takes up the whole news cycle still

Transmissibility means it can still fill up hospitals (and is doing so right now in southern states)

Just heard that one of my coworkers tested positive and we been pfizer gang since like Jan-Feb. Odds are it's the delta variant since that's the dominant variant in our area now.

Anti-Vaxxers really gonna try and cope with this by claiming that it’s vaccinated people’s fault that things are so bad?

People would rather this thing become endemic than just get a f***ing vaccine and get this s*** over with

There are people who can't have the vaccine so you'll never get 100% coverage. With that being said do you believe lockdowns and masks will end if everyone has the vaccine?

Of course not everyone can get it, that's not the point. And that's even more of a reason why the people that can get vaccinated, should.

Regardless of lockdowns and mask mandates we'd be in a much better position than we are now if everyone that is able to had the vaccine. Anti vaxxers are only prolonging the pandemic at this point, to believe otherwise is nonsense. We absolutely wouldn't be seeing a spike in cases and hospitalizations if everyone that could had gotten vaccinated months ago.

Would you rather have to deal with ongoing lockdowns and masks mandates instead of getting vaccinated?

son its asymptomatic and can spread through animals

Animal to human transmission is considered low and very rare, there's no studies to support such - cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/animals.html

and asymptomatic transmission is not the same as covid becoming endemic you moron

vaccine wasnt really made to keep you from getting it 100%, but it is supposed to make the effects, specially the long term ones, less bad.

some of the evidence is saying the vaccine might not protect from the long term effects, we should have locked everything down fully and banned all travel.

Some countries are already rolling out booster shots and in the mean time they are going to improve the vaccine through further research

Another lockdown won't be as effective, people just have to resume with their life in this new normal
