Only advice I have if you're keeping it short Is leave the mustache ends a tad bit longer to cover the cheek area, and a light soul patch will tighten up the mouth area

I haven't fully shaved since I was 17 but I normally keep it 1in which is at lest 4 times longer than you tho lol

I used to grow my mustache out real long and twist the ends up it looked straight fire but I always fiddle with it and touch it like all day long. And now with covid it aint good to be touching your face so much, especially your mouth area......so I keep it trimmed now. But yeah my mustache used to be MEAN
