It’s been over a month since all three events that I was supposed to go to this year have been cancelled. Still no refund. They were actually cancelled. Not postponed. Legally I am supposed to get that money back. Has anyone gotten anything from Ticketmaster yet?

All seems a bit shady to me man, I found out about the postponement of The Weeknd tour thru his IG a few days back, and that specifically said that dates would be rescheduled and tickets would be honoured for the new dates, but if you can’t make this you’ll get a refund.

However the email I got from TM about it today just provided the new dates, and didn’t mention the possibility of a refund in the above situation (couldn’t find it in the Covid FAQs either) so does seem like they’re tryna pull a fast one.

Having said that the site does make it very clear that any cancelled event will be an automatic refund and that they’ll contact you, so dunno how they’d get out of it.

I guess the important thing is have they acknowledged the cancellation and you just haven’t heard from them since? Or have you heard about the cancellation elsewhere and nothing from TM yet?

In either case it may just be a waiting game for you, but specifically the latter it might just be they’re working on processing s*** before making their own announcement.

Would defo make some enquiries with them tho, ive had to chase up a couple refunds I’m not sure I would have got otherwise

I got a refund from a rage against the machine ticket. I was only able to request it after they announced the new date, though. Took two and a half weeks

On my TM page it literally says cancelled on each event. I was just under the assumption that shows that have been cancelled will be refunded. Refunded shows don’t get cancelled. The shows I was going to have been cancelled with no rescheduling

Yeah from what I can see your situation should be an auto refund then. I imagine they’re processing so much atm it may take a while, but would defo get at them by phone / email / socials etc make sure u get that bread

I would honestly say f*** it and just reverse the chargers with your bank. For the reason just say the goods/services weren’t provided I doubt your bank will fight you
