I've been thinking lately, and there's a strong chance I'll look into being a mentor in the future (once I sort out this journey we call life).

Anyone here of like mind? Or possibly already participating in something similar?

No it would be cool but I'm terrible with kids

i frequently think about becoming a teacher for middle/high school kids, maybe college if i finish this phd s*** (not looking hot rn)

i feel like even tho i have no presence or personality it would be kinda fun, like u learn about these kids and become their friends in a way

im sure it would be awkward at first but over time you develop strategies to avoid awkward moments

Always thought about just becoming a professor

My nursing course is allowing me the choice to become a mentor when I qualify

I don't think I'll ever figure this life thing out, but I definitely provide insights to those I see a younger me in

I peer mentored freshmen in the intro University course for about three years in college

also mentored kids in the 8th and 10th grades at my city's high school

it was cool, but also discouraging

Not mentoring per se, but I plan on working in a teaching hospital where I can teach residents and med students

Not really. Im like 3 years away from being able to be a mentor to someone

I used to have a protege, and I helped steer his career in the right direction.
