    Experiment no. 1
(the jar was about 1/3 vodka, juice of 1 lime, teaspoon of sugar, and the rest water)
Will leave them overnight to soak.

  • I probably drink less than 90% of the people ITT
I only ever drink when I want to get drunk, otherwise it's a waste of time

  • Alright I tried them
They actually taste fine. Like regular celery but with a slight lime kick + plus a very mild vodka aftertaste.
Pretty underwhelming though. I don't think they picked up a lot of the vodka, even though I left them soaking for 4 days.
Next time I will blanch the celery first. I think this will help it pick up more of the vodka, and it means I can leave it soaking longer without worrying about it going off.
Once I have celery down-pat I can try other veggies, which I suspect will be harder to get right
