Billy Bob Thorton is really the only good thing in this. All the other storylines feel like a waste of time.

Also, Taylor Sheridan only wrote the pilot to Tulsa King. I dont think he had much else to do with it.

Every single woman character in a Taylor Sheridan show seems to be written like a stereotype.

They teach me that the conservative way is extremely difficult but ultimately always the right choice and all liberalism is phony horse s***.
Men work extremely hard and die early and women are nothing less than s***objects who bask in the reward of the labor of their men unless they're an attorney.

Also, the coolest guy in the room is always a quick witted old man with snappy comebacks on every occasion who is completely broken inside.

Really though 1883 was the only thing this man has written that didn't fall off the tracks after episode 2.

Finished watching the entire season last week. Really good show.

I don't know if Taylor Sheridan is planning on doing a season 2 or not, but if he is, i'm all for it.

G this show is weird as f*** it’s like the peak white sigma male fantasy

Every white guy in here is some fearless, and thankless knight defending the realm

This man’s son being a chivalrous guy, getting beat up for this girl he met at the funeral of his coworker. For some reason he gets out the hospital and goes to her house instead of his parents? Now he’s watching over her in the night, and happens to be there just in time to stop her from signing over her right to sue.

Yo this nigga is the perfect guy
He said “Then we wait.”
She said. “I don’t want to wait. I’m gonna fix this room for you.”

Context, he worked with her husband, who died in a work accident. It hasn’t been a month since his body was burnt to a crisp.

Billy Bob carries this so hard, every episode is like 10 minutes of actual plot and 30 to 40 minutes of nothingness like the mother and daughter hanging out with old ppl and bringing them to strip clubs

Also the dialogue In those scenes are str8 late night skinemax tier

Shades of Beth getting blown up by a bomb but just being smoky and tarred like a road runner cartoon gag, and lighting a cigarette right after of course

The honest and earnest son with the gorgeous young widow lusting after him

Someone needs to tell Taylor enough with this yeehaw s***, none of this hits like Hell or High Water did
