    'already'

talking like drake aint been in the game for 15 years already and some kind of rookie

Drake peaked with Scorpion, which had a lot of his 'biggest" songs. He hasn't been able to recapture that hype since, and he won't.

Idc what anyone says, Hotline Bling was bigger than God's Plan

that’s probably because it was might’ve been more organically popular

Gods Plan felt kinda pushed to me

I know the exact numbers/chart stats for both Hotline Bling and Gods Plan across all metrics so this isn’t from a place of ignorance on that front: being there for both, Hotline Bling was easily a bigger deal and across more types of people too

Even elderly folks were aware of Hotline Bling bro

    YA ICEMAN ACE

So pissed it got robbed of being his first #1

    It had stiff competition.

Sorry, The Hills, Hello were all in the top 5 at the same time.

  • Yeah I also think the landscape of music has changed this feat. A hit back then had the potential to be a hit for longer than a hit now. The virality and over consumption, makes even great songs now, peak quickly and lose momentum
