i was doing a part time job in an office when 0-100 dropped. I just got to office and for some reason opened rap genius and 0-100 was the top trending songs on it and the rest is history.

Are we all sharing our nostalgia stories?? Bro I was walking home from school and I played that s*** mannnn. I’ll never forget the James blake outro on the soundcloud version sounding so wavy.

“Me and Noel been at it before twitter names” the twitter bars

There’s another song where he mentions twitter I can’t believe I forgot someone remind me

Do you remember exactly where you were at/what you were doing the first time you heard each of his albums?

Most memorably for me, I was in the middle of cooking dinner when IYRTITL dropped. I stopped cooking and made my sister finish lmao. I wish I could listen to Legend for the first time again!

When I first heard IYRTITL I was closing down the restaurant I worked at and my bro text me maaad hype right around midnight. Then I pressed play on Legend as I was sweeping the floor

also Heat of the moment by Drake always takes me back to the day it was released. It was winter and i was in my room listening to the care package when it dropped i think it was with 6god lol

    That’s a good one too.
I was driving home from a work party. Heavenly listening for the first time. It was soothing to hear HOTM, then the juxtaposition of just feeling belligerent while listening to 6 God 😂

Bro I had just finished a shift at work and was driving home when it dropped... I ended up driving around an extra 30 mins just to keep listening to it

For WATTBA I was driving down south like a 10 hour ride so I just listened to that on repeat... IFYT I was in NYC drunk as balls... just reminds me of winter good old days

I can truly account for my life and different time periods to Drizzy albums, projects and most importantly the SOUNDCLOUD LOOSIES, that s*** hit DIFFERENT 😫. This man really gave us back to back classics to be the soundtrack to our lives, The Boy really did that s*** he goated 4L

Agreed 100% bro. That s*** was special. Gets me in my feels thinkin back on all the fun we’ve had over the years.

Among all his albums, nothing marked time more (for me) than VIEWS. Controlla will always take me back to Summer 16.

Yeah Views wasn’t what I had hoped it would be, but it was still a special album. First summer together with my (now) fiancé!

NWTS stand out for me . I was a junior in high school . Had a lot of girls . Just remember everyday after school listening to come thru while texting my different chicks . High school + Nwts = goat level years very nostalgic

Also IYRTITL . If I can recall correctly it came out during my summer break from HS . I remember being too young to drive so I was just running around w/ my ex Kaiyla. That summer was wild and I miss that girl 😫

Edit: just requested her on Facebook : and I’m wrong the album came out in February but I was still banging it in the summer

Drake’s music has been a soundtrack to my life from being a freshman in high school to me being a 27 year old adult. His music will forever resonate with me more than any other. Couldn’t thank him enough for it

Always thought about what I would tell him, if I were to ever meet him and I think it would be something similar to what you just said.
