Even then it was pretty rare, never to this extent, and it would always end if a woman, child, or older person entered the barber shop. The conversation was usually about sports, film, music, current events, etc.

I have to say I haven’t been to a barber shop since 2015 and the barber shop I use is an old head shop. With that being said I’ve never in my life seen anything like this. I’m not saying it doesn’t happen. But in personal experience women get their cuts like men and be out. Barbers be roasting but it’s usually directly to the customer and nobody else paying attention. (They might cut up on you about your dry scalp at worst)
This feels mad forced tbh.
