I genuinely find it hard to give a f***. I like Cole and still do

  • Probably the single most pathetic moment in rap history

  • Its definitely interesting going back to listen to most of his discography now. I definitely lost some respect for his status in rap. I can respect that he did what was best for him, but it puts him in a weird spot musically in my mind now. I completely stopped listening to his last release as of late because of it.

Worse, that was very lame of him. Hopefully the fall off makes up for it. But that was very unnecessary move

It seems in character for him, he's not that type of guy

The part that was annoying is just he did all that just to take it back in 2 seconds

It just felt so disappointing and lame

    Also stupid

It didn't have to go that way and it just goes to show all that braggadocious s*** is fake and hiphop is dead until midnight tonight hopefully

3 hrs later edit: Yep Future and Metro just resurrected this hip-hop s***

Since the apology. Just wondering how much of it is online hysterics a of us have had a real change of heart on the dude.

it makes his lyrics about being the GOAT and never ducking smoke seem like bluster

he wasn't genuine with the 7 minute drill track and you can tell by how he phrased his verses

he wanted to compete but not against Kendrick bc he values their relationship too much, and I get it

but its not gonna bode well for his themes of lyrical combat if this is the only beef he's ever in and this is what came from it

I still fw Cole don't get me wrong, but his back catalog is always gonna have an asterik by it to a lot of rap fans in our generation

It Ruined the new album for me and I was really enjoying it

He’s Talking about how there’s no better rapper than him all throughout the project….but when it was time to prove it, he folded tf

Why does proving you’re the best rapper have to mean beefing with his long time friend?

Why does proving you’re the best rapper have to mean beefing with his long time friend?

Because his long time friend called him out…saying f*** the other 2, I’m the best

Doesn’t have to get violent or anything

lost some respect for him, if he really felt that way about going at his man then he should've never dropped a diss in the first place

  • Cole is still good in my book. I personally always ranked Kendrick higher but he's talented and made great mixtapes.

I do think he would've been better off not even responding to Like This though. His heart wasn't in it and he's sort of paying the price for it.

  • Oblivion X

Worse, that was very lame of him. Hopefully the fall off makes up for it. But that was very unnecessary move

He needs to change that title immediately

Couldn’t have said it better. His best response would’ve been to handle it behind the scene, no harm no foul

I never cared for Cole and didn’t think he was ever ‘top 3’. The diss and apology only confirmed my beliefs.

Yep. If anything they just gave him hella skits and interludes for The Fall Off, made it 10x more interesting if he dives into the things under people wanting him to be someone he’s not to appease a fickle rap fanbase. Really has the makings of a classic but we have to see what he does with it

I can hear Mal’s rant being chopped up for a good intro type song lol

  • Was legit my #2 but now he’s just Logic.

Hes a great rapper technically, but i put him a couple tiers above logic. Some great verses but never understood the hype fully.

My opinion of him didnt really change.

  • Lil bit yeah. I get his intentions. But it was just competition brodie

  • He had no problem dissing Lil Pump and Kanye. This nigga is a joke fr.
