Its definitely interesting going back to listen to most of his discography now. I definitely lost some respect for his status in rap. I can respect that he did what was best for him, but it puts him in a weird spot musically in my mind now. I completely stopped listening to his last release as of late because of it.

Cole is still good in my book. I personally always ranked Kendrick higher but he's talented and made great mixtapes.

I do think he would've been better off not even responding to Like This though. His heart wasn't in it and he's sort of paying the price for it.

Yep. If anything they just gave him hella skits and interludes for The Fall Off, made it 10x more interesting if he dives into the things under people wanting him to be someone he’s not to appease a fickle rap fanbase. Really has the makings of a classic but we have to see what he does with it
