It’s less about his last album (2019 College Dropout)

It’s more about the long breaks he takes in between releases. He been moving like that since Acid Rap.

    People move on after awhile.

    Ah I get that then

Also the way he’s been releasing music thru Instagram reels n s*** lmao

I get it though, gotta wait out the storm when the whole world hates u

Remember when people were cooking chance for The Big Day and he dropped his nice guy persona?

Chance needed to drop the fake nice guy gimmick but this meltdown was sad

  • never counted him in tbh

man idek tbh i'm leaning towards yeah, but that last single was cool

i think his ego is gonna get to him (which it already has outside of the music) and he's gonna rap about how people wrote him off. i guarantee you he's gonna do some corny phrasing with that "AND WE BACK" s*** and just be passive aggressive as hell

Absolutely not, his next album will be fire.

  • Sep 21, 2022

Not really hyped or avidly checking for him but I’ll give the next album a CHANCE

  • Sep 21, 2022

i feel like a lot of his old fanbase has idk. i still follow him on twitter and its weird to see how little engagement his posts have.

should have tried to follow up his last album quicker. now we are at another 3+ years and there's just no real mention of him that often anymore. For most people it's prob closer to 5-6 years

You are your most recent album.

    Jim Halpert

You are your most recent album.

Just release three albums at once then and let time do it's course

  • Sep 21, 2022

I still believe in dude. Definitely repressing his nature tho.
    Acid rain is really poignant.

Whatever "I will listen once and if its good I'll listen again" is, that's how I feel about Chance

I don’t expect people to feel the way I do. I hated TBD, but his recent output is a nice return to form.

No way someone like Chance can release back to back garbage.

I’ve hated everything he’s ever dropped so I’m just biased

    Since Coloring Book

  • Yes like 5 years ago

  • Sep 21, 2022

New stuff is cool but tbh pretty boring

So I guess? Would like a good project from him tho

  • Sep 21, 2022

Yes tbh. Even his newer music that's going back to his routes isn't hitting for me like his old stuff

    you don’t hate this bro

  • Sep 21, 2022

You are a few years late buddy

  • Sep 21, 2022

definitely but i can say i liked his side projects more as an actor rather than a musician like for example the "Mr Happy" short he starred in a long time ago i think he would shine best in that lane, it feels he's too prideful to go for that route though.

Instrumental is silky but his voice makes me want to cauterize my ears until they permanently shut

  • Sep 21, 2022

New s*** is kinda nice. He did have a dip in quality though.

  • Sep 21, 2022

saw his face on a carton of ben and jerrys

  • Sep 21, 2022

I really like his verse on the Vic Mensa song “shelter” but I can’t say I’m actively checking for him sadly , acid rap was a staple of my party era
