Yes it is, the black one is a bit less spicy. Based on Scoville its about 8 times hotter than Sriracha. The main thing about it is it tastes really good but if you can't handle spice probably not for you. Give the noodles a try and if you like the taste the sauce is like 5 bucks and it lasts forever and tastes good on anything
