Southern hospitality, here in Croatia you will get forced to eat something when you come as a guest, its rude to not take any food even

jeez, thats not happening here, here the most extreme case is at least them offering you something, but being ok if you dont accept any food. Maybe in rural places they are more friendly i guess? i know here we even get homegrown food from some people

people in general here are more extroverted, i know Italians for sure
