In hindsight the CDs I got were useless if I’m now collecting records but I liked them at the time so f*** it
My Views CD got so scratched tho
I enjoy supporting (small) artists I like
I never spend money on big artists unless they have something that I want as a part of my collection
"Rarely I do, then I remember, I have friends who spend so much on weed and booze, and all they do when stoned/buzzed is watch TV lol"
you sound like a nerd buddy @op
Is this just your way of talking s*** about your friends spending habits in order to justify yours
I paid 100 for Maria I’m drunk extended version and I’ve never felt more accomplished in my life
trav veets crazy on that
Did u just get mad at ur friends judging how you spend you money right after u judged them for how they spend their money?

sometimes I play a record in the store and go wow im buying this, and that part i listened was the only good part. but still going about buying music this way leads to more unexpected discoveries than any bullshit algorithm could give me
I only regret buying NBA YoungBoy's Sincerely Kentrell album on CD because Atlantic made it look worse than a bootleg made by somebody who is not able to make bootlegs
With that being said, Atlantic overprice their CD's like a mf these days
Only time ive spend money on music was in elementary school. I think it was a jim jones ringtone from a myspace ad
I haven't spent enough
I think about this Aphex Twin quote sometimes
'I learned a lesson when I was a kid. When I was about 16 my best friend had this Mike Dunn record Tracks That Move Ya, an eight tracker acid thing. We were in Cornwall and he had been up to London and bought two copies of it. There was no way I could get that record because I'd have to go to London, there was no internet back then, and then he said I'll sell it to you for 30 quid. 30 pound then was like 100 grand to me. I remember giving it to him and he gave me the record and he looked at me like "you're such an idiot" for paying that much. I was like "yeah but I've got this amazing record and you've just got pieces of paper in your hand."'
This is nice, a lot of idioms are similar to this
Nope
