  • I fumbled a job interview last month with 120k on the line. I told homie I’m looking to start a family soon and he said this is a stressful job and he needs someone who can handle the stress.

You ever mess your paper up?

Theres a chance you could re-apply?
    Train before the interview

The interviews that didn't worked for me, I was simply not suited for the roles yet (lacked either experience or certifications)

It was a great paying job since they had a contract with the prison and a lot of OT.

Never knew why I didn’t get taken and it bothered me for awhile but not since I started at my new company back in September

I’ve never had a job interview without an offer. If you let me get to the interview stage it’s over lol

I’m too well spoken and I present myself in a dignified manner. Plus I’m handsome. Can’t help but want me on the team.

  • i keep telling myself it is what it is but damn

Nah, I don’t think I’ve ever had bad interviews. Just talk about your experience and relate everything back to the company’s goals, maintain integrity, and don’t hesitate

Also pro tip to ask them what their concerns are about you and if they ask you about salary say “what’s typical range for this role? Oh okay, I was looking for something in the (whatever the highest number they say is plus 5k) range.

Usually always goes well and you get the higher number. My company said 45-60, I said I was looking for 60-75 since I’m making about that range rn (I’m not) and they offered 65

at my job I once tried for another team and another position (that I was working very close with hence me trying out) and in their at-home tasks I answered something to the effect of 'follow the guidebook' to pretty much every question thats because I knew for a fact thats how they did it but I didnt know their team lead personally so I also figured this slickness probably wouldn't fly

in the end they turned me down but then I found out it'd be a massive downgrade for me benefits and salary-wise, so alls well

With how many 16 year olds with no experience they hire, fumbled interviews at those are probably extremely common
