There's a video of a dude casually walking, who then casually taps another dude on his shoulder, making dude #2 turn around JUST IN TIME to get out of the way of an out of control truck that absolutely would have killed him. Meanwhile dude #1 just keeps walking. Never even broke his stride.

Other than that, I had an awesome astral projection experience.

So after trying casually for a few months and getting nowhere, I made a serious attempt to astral project. The night it happened, I had awaken in the middle of the night (intentionally), used the bathroom and laid back down. Kept as still and as calm as possible.

Felt the vibrations and knew from previous experience failing to not get over excited, just stay calm. I used the rope technique to lift myself out of my astral body, and felt a little poof (think like a pop but super gentle). Then I felt myself floating upward, but I couldn't see anything (physical eyes were closed). This was the furthest I'd ever gotten and so I got excited by this point and opened my eyes for a split second before quickly thought "fuck, no close em" and did.

Now with my eyes closed again, I could see. I was in space, which was my intention for AP in the first place. I wanted to fly to Jupiter since I feel I have a cosmic affinity with the planet. But I couldn't control where I was flying. Like I was literally out of control and floating in circles horizontally, looking for Jupiter as the planets flew around and around my vision. It's what I imagine flying while DRUNK would feel.

In a span of what felt like 3-4 seconds, all of the planets and space in the solar system got down-scaled and so I could find Jupiter much easier but still couldn't control where I was moving. The planets were scaled weirdly, too. Like Jupiter was still the biggest, Mercury was still the smallest, etc, but like all of them were perfectly visible as far as size goes. And Neptune was sooo close to Jupiter that they were basically touching. Mentally I kept thinking about going to Jupiter, trying to will myself there.

And it was working, but as I was moving towards it, the image faded to black and I felt myself back in my physical body. My eyes were still closed, and I wasn't moving in case I'd be able to have another experience on the spot. I've never had sleep paralysis as a precursor to getting to the floating out of my body stage, including this time. And so I was laying in bed not moving, eyes still closed and wondering if I was now undergoing sleep paralysis, just as a guess. But I tried moving my fingers and feet and I was able to, so I opened my eyes, and that was that.

Whole experience, from the time I felt the poof until the time my vision faded back to black took what felt like 10-20 seconds tops.
