No but my brother did. A couple years ago there was a party that a friend of ours wanted to go to & invited a bunch of ppl to. I'm not rly the party type but he was supposed to go. he ended up getting a bad feeling about it and stayed at home. the friend of ours ended up getting shot and killed leaving the party that night.

Yeah. As a kid I was running around some abandoned building at night messing around with my friends, some massive metal pole fell literally (and I mean literally) 2 inches behind and cracked the concrete it fell on. It would have cut through my brain like a hot knife in butter. After that I got scared to run in non open places for like 6 months lmao. Sometimes the event flashes through my head and I wince, closing my eyes coz I imagine it going through my head.

Yeah the ‘wincing’ where I remember it happens like once a month at most, but the memory is followed by gratitude because I remember how lucky I got, some god spared me type s***. Never went back to that place since tho.

there was a shooting by my house when I was asleep on the couch and later we found a bullet hole that went through our door and into the couch like a couple inches below where my head was at

another time in college my roommate let one his banger friends and his girl and newborn stay at our spot during thanksgiving break because no one was gonna be at home and cause they both got kicked out of their own house for having a baby or some s*** and I was the first one to come back from break and when I opened the door my friends banger homie had a gun pointed at me cause he thought I was like a robber tryna break in or some s*** damn near had a heart attack then just got mad af that some random dude was living in my spot and pointing a gun at me cause he thought I was the sus one smh. friend didn’t tell us ahead of time cause he didn’t think any of us would come back before they left.

imma skip my own death

I crashed my car for the first (knock on wood) time a few winters ago. Was listening to KnxAnswer coming home from school. Fog on the windshield had me looking through a tiny hole I had wiped for myself. The roads were that horrible mix of ice and slush that is ripe for a crash. I was only going like 30 mph. Must’ve hit a bad patch of slush and my car swerved, i tried to correct it and only made it worse. My car spun in slo-mo like 3 whole times as i traveled maybe 150 yards down the road and slid nose first but sideways through a snowbank and into a telephone pole. Not injured at all, and don’t really know if I could’ve died, but if there were another car coming then there would likely have been horrible injuries. Luckily this incredibly nice family was coming home from their kid’s basketball practice and pulled over and put on their hazard lights to warn other drivers :).

also a friend of mine had a massive tree fall on the hood of his car while in a storm at a red light. If the car were only a few feet more forward him and his brother would’ve both be ice’d

4th of July 2009, was at my grandparents house with my mom. as we were about to leave and go back home my grandparents said they were gonna go to our local fair/carnival and see the fireworks or whatever. i wanted to go with them but my mom took me home instead because she didn’t feel like coming back to my grandparents house afterwards to pick me up(it was like a 25 min ride from our place to their house)

so about 15 minutes or so after we got home we get a call from the hospital saying that my grandparents got in a real bad car accident. their car was hit by a pretty big truck, s*** was totaled. neither of them died but my grandfather lost one of his eyes and they had to fly him to baltimore because our local hospital wasn’t gonna be able to deal with his injuries. my grandma broke a few bones as well, they were both in the hospital for the rest of the summer pretty much. guess i got lucky that my mom wasn’t trying to pick my ass up lmao

Never had anything happen to me but once one of my best friends had a birthday party at the beach for his stepson and for whatever reason the night before i had a terrible feeling about it like i was gonna die or some s*** so i didn't go lol

woke up one day with a weird cut that looked infected on the back of my thumb. not sure how I got it, maybe a spider bite or something but it looked gross. the next day, I had a red line leading from the infection up my forearm.

no other symptoms and it didn't hurt but I was a little concerned. tried googling but found nothing. still a bit worried so I went to the hospital to be safe. I was living in a small town in Japan at the time and besides the language barrier I felt like they didn't know too well what was going on. they told me it was just a rash and to come back next week but something felt off...

went back to my apartment and was still feeling worried so I smoked some weed to take the edge off. it was like 11pm at this point and I was scared to go to bed. the red streak was continuing up my arm and as I was high, I kept googling more combinations and descriptions until I found it: lymphangitis. jumped to the treatment part and read TREAT WITHIN HOURS OR COULD BE FATAL

F*** THAT! still kinda high but trying to remain calm, I ran to a spot where I knew there were taxis and told them to take me to the hospital asap. got there and saw the same dumbass doctor and google translated the f*** outta lymphangitis. easily curable with antibiotics, they hooked me up and alls well that ends well.

if I had gone to bed or not googled correctly (weed lowkey saved my life) I probably wouldn't be here today. this is the same s*** that killed the Muppets creator Jim Henson. so if you see a red streak going up your arm, get to a hospital asap
