So in
No cgi correct?
I don’t think so . Final movie and based on a book
Miyazaki is working on the film for his grandson as his way of saying "Grandpa is moving onto the next world soon but he is leaving behind this film”
Wonder if the poster is an indication of the art style or just a promo piece
I’m seeing early signs that this could be his best. P sure it’s the longest he’s spent on animation, or any story at all since nausicaa.
He claimed to be taking longer on this movie because he’s old, but the man is self-deprecating. It reads to me that age has made him more experienced, more detail-focused, and more dedicated to the craft than ever. Not necessarily a sign of senility slowing him down, especially with the same young team of animators he’s always had
cant wait for this! I need more Ghibli in general, anyone here with some knowledge in Ghibli and its directors, anyone to look out for in the future? or some other great studio with similar movies.
How many times did dis dude retire
that’s another thing, it seems like his excitement for this story in particular is what pulled him from retirement. that’s a guess tho
Where is the trailer?
