i’m really annoyed by all the racial stuff this season. racism was never a factor in the first two seasons yet it’s in every single episode now. it isn’t saying anything interesting abt any of the characters, especially the black female protagonist, so idk why it’s there. Sam doesn’t have the range to be writing this type of s***

    And it’s still garbage?

No, my point is that you have watched 20 episodes of a show that you think is “abysmal garbage”. Why tune in to a show every week at exactly 9pm ET if you actually hate the entire thing? If you are halfway in to the 3rd season, you’re either forcing yourself to watch it for some reason or you actually enjoy watching it.

But I just don’t get the concept of being on the 3rd season of a show you don’t actually like

I liked Season 1 and some of Season 2. I didn’t say the entire show is abysmal garbage, I’m saying it’s abysmal garbage now

I think people are missing this parallel tbh

In high school, Nate was able to bully anyone he wanted, and he was able to get himself out of any conflict with either violence or sick mind games . But reality has hit him mad and he sees now that s*** is different when you get out of high school.
You can’t bully mobsters and government officials.
And now he’s the one who has to get on his knees and beg

  • Once again, the best show on television

  • why is sam on a mission to make everyone hate jules 💔 lmaoo every episode it’s something new

  • This szn ain't even bad s*** is looney tunes but it's entertaining

Probably better than szn 2 so far

Yeah lol I think they were just trying to be funny with that. It’s kinda hard to tell what tone they want this show to have at times lol

  • Apparently this is the lowest rated episode? I must be watching a different show

I’m not seeing where the racial stuff is all that bad, but I mean Sam’s dad was an executive producer on Oz (Alamo being a Mai antagonist) and that is probably the most racism I’ve seen in a tv show so maybe that’s why this feels lite to me

Jules sucks so bad this season man
Her writing so dumb and forced

i think her character arc is going to explore how she feels about "limitations" after everything that we've seen from the first 2 seasons. her being born a guy was a limitation. all the blackmail with nate was a limitation. feeling like she was rue's sober anchor was a limitation. monogamy feels like a limitation to her. now her artistic expression is being limited. i feel like she'll end up learning what limitations suit her or damage her the most by the end of the season
