I’m blowed yall are s***ting on the ending and show NOW. Nigga this s*** been trash for the longest
The f*** yall expect?
More giantess scenes.
It’s done
https://twitter.com/discussingfilm/status/2061303931599544573I thought it got renewed for another season?
They not even gonna give Maddy a scene of her realizing that her telling Alamo about the DEA is what got Rue killed.
Maddy could have had the best arc of the season but Sam completely fumbled her character in the last two episodes
ngl after all the crazy racist s*** from the Nazis, i do appreciate Alamo’s crew ultimately outsmarting them and the DEA
Told y'all this ish turned into Fast and the Furious. This 🥷🏾 even driving Dom's whip lol
why is she holding onto a giant loaf of bread
One thing I do appreciate, and makes me lighten up slightly on the finale, is the demonization of fentanyl. That can't be demonized enough and considering how Angus Cloud passed it makes sense. I have lost a lot of people because of that s*** so that hits a soft spot for me for sure.
That aside, nothing that was done otherwise saved the rest of the show at all. I guess I like that the brothas beat the nazis more or less (up until that point I more or less was on board), and that Ali got to kill Alamo, but Ali had plot armor like a muthafucka
Then the stupid standoff like cmon bruh
this man just shot gunned half your crew
All that wanna be cowboy dumb s*** is just goofy, and even if I were to excuse it because he liked playing cowboy or whatever, after all the intelligence Alamo displayed up to this point, this is what he chooses to do? Bishop just conveniently is the snake? So, what was going to happen if Ali didn't show up? Was there an alternate plan in mind? We will never know because we got no real backstory with Bishop.
Cassie's part was rendered pointless but I guess her and Lexi's conversation was really just to lay out the point of "smiling through the losses" and remembering the good times with those you lost, so that's fair. Definitely didn't make up for all of the dumb ass s*** throughout the show, but I understand why he put the conversation in there and have no major issues about it.
Hunter/Jules must have really pissed Sam off lol. She literally didn't have to be in the show at all.
Maddy ultimately being reduced to a human shield after all of that is a really reductive way to send her off imo. Also, Alamo fell in love hella quick lol tf?
Once again, I actually appreciate how they handled Rue's story to some extent and the messaging behind it, and I get they were paying homage to Angus Cloud/Fez in some way, but it still felt kind of weird in a way too. Guess that was unavoidable, but it was a choice. Kind of reads out like Sam was hit really hard by Angus's death so he kind of sloppily wrote this story to try and make peace with it perhaps. Then he has his own history with the subject; I just wish he chose a less goofy way to go about it.
Overall, I didn't hate the ending minus the standoff or anything considering the prior few episodes lowered the bar into hell, but this needs to be Sam's last gig ngl LOL. My boy is awful. Shout out to the cinematography, Zendaya, Marshawn Lynch (I really want to see him try to tackle a bigger role cause it's something about him I really like), Alamo's actor when he's not being a f***ing idiot, and Ali's character. L Show overall lol it was hard not to tune in though at least.
Also damn the last time Jules got to interact with Rue was slapping the s*** out of her
