I swear yall be watching this show with your ears closed. That whole monologue he gives Rue about Snakes and they literally show the snake as Bishop was walking by this episode. He was the snake he was talking about all along

Nothing you said here changes what I said. Outside of the fact you can argue he didn’t like seeing how Alamo does his own, him randomly deciding to take off with Maddy was just incredibly left field when they have literally once scene prior that leads to this. Had there been build up for it I wouldn’t have minded it. The snake scene doesn’t interpret that Bishop is a snake because he literally wasn’t if you base things off him doing it for the fact Alamo was ultimately the one who couldn’t be trusted.

They not even gonna give Maddy a scene of her realizing that her telling Alamo about the DEA is what got Rue killed.

It was very apparent he knew prior in fairness

No it wasn't. He didn't trust her completely because he thought she may have still been working with Laurie. The DEA didn't even pop up until Maddie said it

This scene was also placed in timing with Rue working with the DEA. If it was a setup for Bishop it was done bad considering Bishop wasn’t just sitting around waiting to “devour” Alamo. He had a moment of realizing Alamo didn’t respect his own people idk why people are correlating this scene to Bishop turning on him

That’s true but I’m also just using context clues for the fact he had 0 reaction to being told that. The letters DEA as a trafficker are ass tingle letters no matter who you are. I won’t say he knew but rather it wasn’t a surprise he knew he couldn’t trust her in any case. This is why I say Maddy wasn’t the one who got her killed. He’d have done this in any scenario at that point.

Edit: I missed the subtle reaction he had I was looking for and that’s all I wasn’t expecting a crash out yall lol

I can only think of a handful of shows that have a good finale honestly

he does have a moment where he's startled for a bit though, he's about to take a sip but doesn't immediately go through with it

ofc he can't be too obvious with it or he'd tip off maddy

Honestly didn’t catch that and that’s what I was looking for. I knew ofc he wasn’t going to have some outlandish reaction to it, but I didn’t catch a subtle one first time i watched, I just simply missed it.
