It’s actually crazy that despite all the nudity we were exposed to during this series, we didn’t see Jules’ d*** once

Ok answering both you post at once, first of all I was one of the first to say I didn't like how they handled Bishop in the finale. She actually wasn't "still working for the DEA", the DEA said they got what they needed from her and that they would try to use that favorably in her case. Unrealistic and bad writing, but that's how he wrote it. I agree about the trafficking part but regardless, again, they foreshadowed very clearly throughout the show that Bishop was tired of Alamo. If you look at the big picture, Alamo brought a lot of the s*** on himself. Had he been calmer and more calculated (like Bishop), they wouldn't have even had to go through at least half of the things they went through in the first place.

But again, I think the whole s*** is written poorly so all that "if you love it so much" s*** don't apply to me.

As far as Alamo and the gang were concerned she was still working for them. They didn’t know DEA were done with her but they did know what was in the safe and that she now has knowledge of it

Rue’s death was tragic and the one incredible scene in a season that was mostly a mess

I can understand Zendaya wanting a more hopeful ending but I get why Sam wrote something else, especially after Angus

That's fair I'm not aruging that. I'm literally quoting what the actor for Bishop said in his article. His own words were "after Alamo killed Rue that was the last straw for him". It's stupid writing either way so.

I get it. All my posts in here are really just poking fun at things more than criticizing. I still enjoyed watching this season and The Idol tbh. Levinson’s writing isn’t perfect but it is entertaining

    He’s a great director tho

    Bad season of television

The religious psychosis readings on that ending are off the charts

  • Sad rue died but I’m okay with it being cause she took a laced pill and she didn’t willingly OD

Also not sure why if she was able to go to the doctor , they didn’t prescribe pills for her.. she just took alamos

like ali said, addiction is a disease similar to cancer. it can go in remission but it doesn't just disappear. she didn't have to take percocets for her pain but she did so anyway to relive the high she got from them

a lot of people don't like how Bishop turned on Alamo but i always saw this coming in some way. for me, i thought it was implied he got roped into this business similarly to how Rue did. even the "threats" can be read differently after learning of his betrayal in the finale. overtime, you can see Bishop starting to grow fond of Rue despite her immaturity. and through Rue, he met Maddy, who he has a genuine attraction for. he never really enjoyed or supported killing people for the sake of killing people. he only ever did what he was told until he had that golden opportunity to get Alamo killed

"May God have mercy" doesn't only apply to Ali, it also applies to Bishop. he had to be complacent in so much s*** to not getting killed one way or another, and only when all the evil forces in his life could be removed was when he started his betrayal

“Who he has a genuine attraction for”

you got all that from their one interaction that went “I’m Maddy” “I know”?

Loved the finale. I enjoy stories that end in a way that’s not some perfectly wrapped bow.

Just because you see it coming doesn’t mean it was executed well

A lot of that other stuff you’re coming up with for your own head canon which is fine if it helps you

How is it a head canon if it happened in the show

The backstory you gave him of being roped into the business and being against violence wasn’t in the show

  • For all we know Bishop wanted Alamo dead so he can take over the business and be an even worse person

What was so special about Rue's death? How is that a more incredible scene than Godzilla-tit Cassie?
