Yikes. As much as I would like S3 I'm starting to think the show ending is for the better

Zendaya as the lead role and gives a career best performance .
Turned Sydney Sweeney and Hunter Schafer in to legit stars. Had a very good first season, and the 2nd season makes the show one of the biggest shows EVER.
Emmy awards.But then for whatever reason Sam puts the show on hiatus to go write a mess of a show called The Idol, The Idol completely flops, and then Angus Cloud passes away…
Now Sam and HBO have no idea what to do with the show, and no clue where to take the story because season 2 ended with 1000 story loose ends

Said it from day 1 putting this on hold to do The Idol was a big mistake. Even worse he was gonna put this on hold even longer to focus on The Idol S2 before it got cancelled. I’m honestly not sure what went through that man’s head to put a for sure hit show on the back burner to f***in bank on….The Idol
