Not really a fan of 13 reasons

Binged the 2 seasons & special. Fun watch but season 2 was shaky and fell off after episode 5.
Season 2 premiere & episode 5 were great. I hated what they did with the play in the last 2 episodes

It’s never not cringe when the in show characters are aware that the characters we’re watching are the main characters unless it’s done for parody or satire. Even then it has to be done right

The rest of the students in school are just watching the lives of 6 students and cheering it on and entertained by it and s***. I’m dead that a whole fight broke out halfway through the play and the show went on. I guess no school faculty member could be bothered to be at that play chaperoning lmao

Also I think the Lexi x Fez relationship had a lot of potential at the beginning of the season but watching them interact near the end there was like no chemistry. Fez would just make some half baked replies and takes them Lexi would laugh and respond with “really?”

I know a lot of people want a time jump and I’m not one of these, “what about Rue owing that lady?!?!” people, but there was very little resolution in season 2, if anything it seemed like we got over the hump of the previous seasons and were going to start getting resolution in season 3 (and beyond if the show went further)

But now we’re jumping 5 years into the future, seemingly scattering the cast around the entire globe and any hope for that resolution seems to be cut. We’re skipping over some pretty pivotal things that I think we should get to see, and if they try to shoehorn them in after 5 years, I can’t imagine it feeling organic.

It might as well be an entirely different show.

season 1 didn't have dominic fike absolutely dominating every scene he was in with his toxicity
