and also jules being a sugar baby too
like okay it's only Maddy and Lexi who aren't involved in some sort of s***work at this point
But that not far fetched for Jules. She was f***ing with old ass dudes from S1 like Nate’s dad

it def is in alignment with how she was in season 1.
i guess my question is... what exactly is the commentary on s***work and young women that Levinson is trying to address here? Since it does seem to be such a big part of the series, what exactly is he trying to say about s***work?
not that there needs to be a clear cut answer or anything. I'm about to start rewatching the show so maybe I'll pick up on some themes and messages but for it to be so prominent, i do sort of wonder what the purpose of it is outside of idk shock value and comedy.
the d***/addiction stuff with Rue is super strong and clear in its themes and messages so I know Sam is capable of having that but i don't know if Sam actually has anything interesting or of note to say about s***work outside of the fact that it just seems to pique his interest for some reason.

Not for long Maddie about to become Cassie’s Mr mihaghi
Good episode but cassie fell off to me
She hella ugly now
Lexi tho
Looks exactly the same
The outrage about how Fez’s storyline is being handled is so f***ing dumb
The police got in to a deadly shootout in his house and they found a dead body
Did people not expect Fez to go to prison????
these the same ppl saying the writing is trash btw
acting like a huge chunk of the s2 finale wasn’t fez tryna convince ashtray to let him take the blame because he was already going down for mouse,
really not even watching the show lol

Honestly I’m not even sure what commentary there is to be had. Because if he does the whole “respect s***work angle” it could come off as super preachy and on the nose.
Sean Baker always makes films with s***work characters but would you say he’s actually having commentary on s***work in each film?
Sydney is one of the most overrated celebrity women of all time

sam been on this s***worker plot the whole series though. I mean MAYBE that's just what the show is about but wtf if it's not Kat in season 1 and 2 being a cam girl or cassie now joining onlyfans or rue working at strip club, this man can't get enough of the s***worker stuff
Sean Baker gets a pass why can’t he

Yup I’m genuinely convinced there’s a large percentage of the fanbase who cares more about tweeting about the show rather than actually watching it
There’s no way some of these people watched seasons 1 and 2 in full
