i guess my question is... what exactly is the commentary on s***work and young women that Levinson is trying to address here? Since it does seem to be such a big part of the series, what exactly is he trying to say about s***work?not that there needs to be a clear cut answer or anything. I'm about to start rewatching the show so maybe I'll pick up on some themes and messages but for it to be so prominent, i do sort of wonder what the purpose of it is outside of idk shock value and comedy.
the d***/addiction stuff with Rue is super strong and clear in its themes and messages so I know Sam is capable of having that but i don't know if Sam actually has anything interesting or of note to say about s***work outside of the fact that it just seems to pique his interest for some reason.
