I think this show has both characters who make bad decisions that are well written (Cassie, Nate) as well as characters making bad decisions as a result of poor writing (Kat, Rue at times the d*** plot is extremely ridiculous and makes no sense whatsoever)

This show is basically a terrible/over budgeted version of the UK show Skins

I mean he has been an enabler since day one.
Elliot told Rue "That's a great idea" when Rue explained she would've bought 5K of d**** so she could be high whenever she wanted.
Fez is a d*** dealer but he told Rue to f*** off when Rue told him her idea and that shows Fez is more level minded than Elliot.

Elliot want the cake and eating it too.
He wants Rue around to have a d*** buddy to get f***ed up with.
He also wants Jules to get his d*** wet.

I don't know if he told Jules about Rue using again because he feel regrets.
Jules was pretty much ready to f*** and he stopped it.
He could've f***ed with Jules and acting like he didn't know s*** about Rue.

It's certain he's a dumb teenager whose action hurt other people

This is shot and scored better either way whether you like it or not

I’m saying this as someone who’s watched Skins twice, all 3 generations

Now that I think about it Skins series 1 and Season 1 of this both end the same way with a musical number and something bad happening to the lead character (Tony getting hit by a bus and Rue relapsing)

As a kid who started doing d**** and having s***way to young the show isn’t that far off

The directing this episode was absolutely amazing

also I’ve had friend who did hard d**** while wanting me to stop/take a break from d**** cause I was kinda od w it sophomore year of college.

seems hypocritical but some ppl can handle their s*** and drink/do d**** in moderation w/o it ruining their lives like rue.
