BrunsonMyDaddyfeel like this season is not hitting the same because Levinson has gone crazy with the style instead of focusing on the characters/story. he's like a film school director trying to show all his cool tricks because he doesn't know what story to tell
that and he sucks at juggling an ensemble cast, he should take a note from how David Simon tells the stories of multiple characters. we've spent way too much time on Nate's dad instead of characters that played a key role in S1
still a fun watch but Levinson getting in his own way
Just binged the show the other day. I have noticed that season 2 is more style than substance. It looks very pretty but assuming this is another 8 episode season, I’m worried if it’ll be as good as season 1 given the fact it’s already about halfway through.
