Ok I understand that, but rue is going thru withdrawals as a teenager whlist running thru the city no only from her loved ones but also the police, and she makes it thru the situation wholly unscathed??
Like at least make the withdrawals a bigger issue as she expends literally all of her energy
Watch The Wire
and people do discuss what they think is personally brilliant about the show. week after week. and people also discuss what they personally believe are shortcomings. or unnecessary instances. or whatever else.
it would be really f***in boring if everyone was on the same page while watching the show, don't you think? if you asked the creators and writers, i think they'd tell you it's something they actually try to actively avoid. the art is meant to create discourse.
^you probably don't give a s*** about any of that tho. lol
entire film/tv sxn absolutely hates this when it comes to TV shows imo. Almost can't criticise a show without being crucified lmfao. It's legit what I enjoy the most (seeing people give different perspectives and opinions on shows), the opposite just creates a hive mind.
This show isn’t a documentary it has surreal fairy tale like parts if it was real these characters would be dead :elon:

so it's fiction

that's crazy. i've only visited the sxn for this show routinely and a couple other shows here and there, but i thought it would be the complete opposite of music sxn for some reason. lol i guess different sxn, same members same s***.
Halfway through and this might easily be the best episode of the season idk how many times I’m going to say that
Best episode of the entire series
Its funny how niggas thought rue was gone die this episode
Hell nah Rue alive and active as f*** this episode
Rue is like the center of this entire series. Her story is based on the creator Sam Levinson’s own experience with addiction. I don’t see how ppl expect her character to die so early on in the series
someone definitely needs to die as a result of rue’s actions
Oh it's gon happen, trust & believe, if this episode taught you anything, it's gon happen
Oh it's gon happen, trust & believe, if this episode taught you anything, it's gon happen
it’s either gia or her mom tbh
maybe fez
or eliot
not only has rue burned every bridge but she could have caused multiple deaths with that car crash

I’m not anti discourse. Everyone here has the right to their opinion, which is why I’m offering mine and in my opinion, you Niggas are overthinking this s*** and I just don’t know what more it could possibly show you. The general criticism from S1 was all style, no substance. It isn’t one I agreed with personally but now they’re unquestionably giving you substance along with style even going so far as to shoot the entire season on film and yet, it still isn’t enough
the substance is there but it’s not balanced well, or the stylization is too overt, too many d***s, not enough titties, too many titties, it’s basically p*** now,
this is legit the general discussion week to week and I just don’t know what niggas are looking for at this point

oh, we're not on the same page then brother. there was none of that talk in the pages i was posting on when you made your comment, so i naturally thought you were referring to what was being currently discussed. i mean, there wasn't even any nudity in the episode so there's that. me and a couple other users were discussing the actual plot of last night's episode.
but yeah sure i can understand being frustrated with people hyper-focusing on certain details of the show like the nudity and directing style as opposed to the actual story.
