this was alright. not really feeling it like everybody else seems to be.

I thought the Rue episode worked better but they both strike me as unnecessary character exposition on the two main characters that we already know a lot about. besides the story of her mom, what did we learn about Jules in this episode that wasn't already shown through the storyline last season? both episodes focused too much on explicitly telling the struggles of the characters when the first season did a good enough job of showing it.

would have been more interested in these episodes if they were about a lesser known (or new) character that would have more screen time in season two.

still think it's a great show and am excited for season two but these bridge episodes added nothing for me

That was a dream she was never in New York.

    What!
I thought she toke a train to New York and left Rue, and then her dad came to New York and took her home and put her in therapy

Feel like this episode had a lot of truth stemmed in from what Hunter (Jules) was saying

Yeah a lot of it definitely ties into her real life, I can’t find the interview but she’s spoken about considering stopping her hormones once she realised she was a lesbian and had no sexual attraction to men in the past.

I thought they had shot the second season, but they haven't they start shooting in March.

Yeah I watched the first one and I was bored out of my mind

Hopefully the second season summarizes the conversations

Same. Love the cinematics of it but the music was annoying and it went on for too long.

Same! Not trying to watch a show solely just about “Rules”, tbh it was kinda getting stale as season 1 was coming to a close.

feel like it would have been much more effective if it was just a quick shot of Jules’ eye tearing up

recapping all of S1 through her eye and setting it to Lorde and letting the whole song ride made me feel like I was watching a stan’s Twitter edit as opposed to the actual episode lol, felt very self-indulgent which is probably my biggest problem with Levinson and the show as a whole

I think it’s safe to say Hunter is a better actress than Zendaya, comparing their door scenes confirmed it for me.

The jules episode confused tf out of me. I couldn’t tell what stuff was from S1, what stuff took place during S1 but is new to us, what stuff is happening after season 1, what is imaginary

So everything was set during season 1

But the last scene was shortly after the end of season 1, and jules comes back?
