loverOne thing season 2 lacked was that distinctive feel from season 1. Remember how everything had those blue/purple/pink hues, those crazy tracking shots, the iconic glitter makeup etc. Euphoria had its own style and texture that was unmatched and really made the show. Still love the show but they abandoned a lot of that for the new season
But we get the grainy dimly lit S2 instead
I feel like the story got a little darker so the tone shifted a little. S1 was like shock value introductory neon colours etc for marketing, I feel like it’s finding itself a lil more now. Plus S2 visually > S1 anyday. The shot on film look is o*****ic imo esp for the drawn out/weird/addict scenes
