Finally got around to watching this. I really liked it overall, but I felt like the subplots were kind of too Degrassi style teen drama. Like, basically everyone outside of Rue/Kat/Jules/Fez was kind of corny and melodramatic.

Some really gorgeous sequences though. Excited for season 2.
Also side note but was the dance at the end the first time that Rue and Jules were shown hanging out with the Kat/Cassie/Maddy squad? I feel like there was some scenes where they hung out with individuals from that squad but I don’t think they were all together until the end.

Yeah that s*** made me cringe. I got the vibe that she just viewed Rue as a friend with benefits and not a girlfriend and didn’t think it would hurt her. She a dummy

yeah there was a strong feeling that Jules is way too go with the flow and wild to be tied down & rue too in love to even realize it

And I don’t think Rue even hung out with the other girls in that first episode. Like she was at the same party but she was outside with Fez what seemed like the whole time lol
