It’s been a while since I’ve watched GOT so I’m pretty rusty when it comes to the terminology and all that jazz
But is she somewhat like him? Like do they share similar powers? She can obviously see into the future

Yeah idk, we’ll have to see how it continues to develop it could end up being interesting if we get some sort of dream sequences or something fun.

bran is a greenseer while helaena is a dragon dreamer. it's similar but slightly different.
the greenseers are connected to the weirwood trees, while dragon dreamers are connected to their dragons. greenseers are also able to skinchange animals, plus their visions are more accurate and straight-forward. dragon dreams on the other hand can be very vague and shrouded in mystery/symbolism. helaena probably won't understand her dreams before they actually happen.
there's a good chance larys is a greenseer and skinchanger like bran, using rats to spy on people. this vid lays out the evidence nicely:

No I haven't. I was interested but people told me that the ending ruined the show, so I avoided it that way I wasn't let down. This looks epic

Characters aren't as interesting as in Game of thrones so far for me. Game of thrones had such a great cast of memorable characters that it's really hard to beat

Did you catch what she said under her breath in the last episode about Aemond? she seemed to understand that what was going to happen to him during this episode. she said it with conviction, which is why I said it reminded me of Bran.

I think you might be alright watching this beforehand, it’s just a prequel and it’s set ~200 years before the events of GoT.

Oct 3, 2022First half was dummy fire but the pacing took a nose dive after the knife scene. Ending felt sped up. Wish this show had more room to breathe but it feels like they want to get to what they’re building up to asap
