The long night has always been around tho right
So has Azor Ahai?
I think killing Dany was what made him that gen's Azor Ahai but I guess all those details can be argued. All I know is in the end Jon fulfilled his role.
It's not though, killing the NK isnt the prophecy, uniting the realm is
Look it up again,
"In this dread hour, a warrior shall draw from the fire a burning sword. And that sword shall be Lightbringer, the Red Sword of Heroes, and he who clasps it shall be Azor Ahai come again, and the darkness shall flee before him"
Arya used that danger in this show to end the darkness. They kept going on and on about in up till then on the show anyways. Show and Book canon are obviously different
Blacks or Greens aside
Imagine putting a child in charge of the fleet instead of someone who lived and breathed the sea

He didnt bc that blade was never used to end the darkness lol
I feel like the showrunners are trying to lowkey retcon the GOT ending with all these mentions of ASOIAF and the upcoming Jon Snow show lol
i wish the show would just fully commit to being its own thing
i thought that's what they were going for when they changed the iron throne design to be more like the book version but then BAM CATSPAW DAGGER!
grrm has hinted in the past that maybe aegon the conqueror knew about the long night, but to make that a central conflict and a driving motivation for these spoiled entitled power-hungry monarchs is kinda ed

I see what you're saying but without Jon Arya wouldnt be there in the first place. Theyre pretty vague on the prophecy stuff in GoT so as long as Jon unites Dany and the North everything works out, by show logic at least
I agree its a mess
He didnt bc that blade was never used to end the darkness lol
They just changed it I guess. Azor Ahai and all that s*** was never even mentioned in the show, and Jon kills the NK in the original script
Maybe he'll kill the real Night King in his show and the dude we saw was just some b**** lieutenant or something I dunno

Yes it was. That whole scene of Dany and Melisandre, remember when they were debating the gender thing. Whatev, Alicent steals the danger and somehow Petyr finds it 200 yrs later
Stannis still alive in the books
Prophecy means nothing on the show
Basically this. Its a f***in mess
But as far as show logic goes Jon brought everyone together so in the end the whole Prince s*** ended up happening. D&D just suck ass at writing.

Stannis build his army and power bricks by bricks
F*** the targ
some of the casting is inexplicable bro I will say lol
Viserys went from a healthy young man to a skeleton and Cole might’ve been aged 3 years, at best

Viserys has leprosy according to Paddy Consadine. He's only like 50 something here.

Yeah that makes sense, the implied reactions by other characters as he gets worse makes it evident he shouldn’t be that bad naturally
I was saying that to say his body physically withered in the same course of time in which Cole has aged like 5 months lol

The original script? Did they confirm that
Stannis still alive in the books
Prophecy means nothing on the show
tbh prophecy might mean nothing in the books either which is why all this talk of tptwp is so silly
it's a recurring theme that prophecies are misleading, meaningless or self-fulfilling. i sincerely doubt anyone's gonna be the Chosen One TM
The original script? Did they confirm that
They straight up said it themselves that they thought the idea was too predictable to they made Arya do it
some of the casting is inexplicable bro I will say lol

i think it's a recurring theme that targaryens age badly tho
in the books rhaenyra is also supposed to be quite haggard, ugly and fat by this point, making her jealous of alicent who's aged gracefully and kept her figure thru all her pregnancies
