Dude season 5,6,7,8 were ALL DnD. It is so obvious they are the writers of it its disgusting. Some of the dialogue is honestly CW like. It's a slap in the face to quality

6 was s*** as well. it just had battle of the b******s and the hodor episode to make up for it.

5 was mediocre. like a clear step down from 4. thank god it had hardhome and some cool moments.

I mean if we talking about Jamie being a vile mf then it adds I guess. But yeah that was a bit much to say the least.

It is curious that the overwhelming majority of characters adapted from books very rarely stay super faithful to the source material's characterization. And usually people don't seem to care much - except when it comes to skin color.

Like, EVEN if that mf is both black, and a Targaryan - who cares? Targaryans aren't interesting because of their skin color. GoT Targaryans also greatly differed from the books, interestingly enough.
