my only major complaints for the show so far are:
1. rhaenys girlboss genocide
2. baela having no lines or personality
3. no sunfyre or dreamfyre
4. daeron not even getting a name drop
other than that i’m incredibly impressed with how they’ve managed to balance so many characters and plots without it feeling bloated
Guys it's so beautiful that this was as successful and good as it is
People were really saying they were done with the franchise after GOT ending
Now im seeing people say they gonna rewatch the og series or even watch it for the first time
And the potential for more productions diving deeper into the lore . Surely at some point they gonna try take it to the big screen also etc
This franchise forever
People saying it was done cause of one goofball season were dumb
Talk ya s*** Ryan
People are so dumb
Arguing with the own author about how a fictional character really is

He seems to be a lot more involved in this project than GoT also. I think post-Red Wedding he was barely involved at all.
my only complaint was how terrible the opening credits were imo, like the idea but the execution was awful
hopefully they use the map in s2 since we'll be in different parts of westeros
could have team black or green's banners over the areas where their banners are. they could even use the table to make it different from the original.

Using the same exact theme was kinda lame too. They could've remixed it at least.

Should have threw some 808’s under it

I hope they can take the constructive criticism and change it but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't

Yeah he was too busy not writing Winds
Yeah he was too busy not writing Winds
He was busy writing Fire & Blood
afaik they started disagreeing with what should and shouldn't be in the show and kinda fell out. He specifically mentioned Stoneheart was the first big diversion.

That’s true he knew he was gonna write a book & make that a show too Lmao
Not including Stoneheart is probably one of the dumbest things especially considering other s*** they included along the way
Rewatching clips from GOT season 7 and it's real apparent how weird the writing is around the morality of murder during war.
Like they really made Danerys seem like what she did was unheard of. Like mfs weren't killing opps for less. It feels like they tried to make us feel like murdering enemy troops who won't switch sides is some new concept so that we as an audience like her less.

Tyrion was infuriating to listen to during 7-8

Dany listening to him was the worst thing she ever did. Shouldve made a beeline to Kings Landing the day she landed and burnt Cersei's dumbass out and that's it war over.

Watching drogon hit KL like the reapers hit earth in Mass Effect or the covenant hit earth in Halo 3 made me wish all 3 dragons hit up kings landing

Sam asking Jon if he wouldve killed Sam's family members
Daenerys: you tried to kill me but I'll give you the choice to join or die.
Enemy: no
Daenerys: I don't take prisoners
Enemy: good cause I ain't surrendering
Danerys:

Drogon:
This is war. They just mad cause her guns are bigger.
Mfs mad about Danny killing civilians in KL were mad about Obama apologizing for Hiroshima and Nagasaki

the way they tried so hard to make tyrion of all people the moral center of the show
having him act all shocked when dany burns her enemy troops as if he himself didnt burn thousands with wildfyre in the battle of blackwater
and the gag is book tyrion will prolly be the one egging dany on to commit as many atrocities as possible, but the showrunners wanted him to be an audience surrogate too badly for that

Jumping over massive hoops and causing a ton of trouble/death for everyone else just to spare Cersei from Dany's wrath, because he suddenly cares about her for some reason

Audience surrogate! That's the phrase I was looking for. S***s dumb as hell.
Jamie marked his own cousin to escape captivity but yall want Danny to be honorable in the big game? Killing Missandei I wouldve went straight to the red keep off rip
