I alluded to this yesterday without outright saying it but like.. I can’t be the only person who feels like this show shares a lot of similarities with GOT Season 7 right?
Everything from the pace to the dubious character/location jumping, even the visual style in some cases.

Season 7's pacing felt sloppy and nonsensical.
The 6 month time jump in this show didn't
I'm not sure what characters you felt were location jumping in this show though

Hightower and the Kingsguard going to Dragonstone is a trip that is hundreds of miles and would take days if not a few weeks. Then you have Rhaenyra showing up at the exact right time despite having no way to know when that would actually be.
Then the end meeting between Daemon and Corlys. That one can be more easily explained but it still leaves time very ambiguous.
I’m not criticizing the show for this, I really really liked GOT 7 and didn’t even know people didn’t like it until I started discussing it online, but I just feel like this show does some things that GOT got heavily criticized for.

Dragonstone and Driftmark are islands right next to each other
From Kings landing to Dragonstone it’s about 100 miles
A helicopter would take about 45 mins to travel 100 miles

Kings Landing and Dragonstone are much further apart than that. Sharp Point to Dragonstone is 100 miles and Kings Landing is much further to the west of Sharp Point, it’s more like 500 miles.
Also idk why you’re talking about helicopters unless you’re thinking I’m complaining about how Rhaenyra got there so fast. I’m not.
